Our Story

For over 150 years and six generations, White’s has provided the highest quality stone products available. We pride ourselves on our dedication to customer satisfaction. Our company has been wholly owned by a direct descendent of the White family since its beginning in 1870. Currently, the company is directed by Allen and Matt White. With Matt overseeing the Countertop Division and Allen directing the Monument and Sign Division, the brothers strive for innovation. Over the past two decades, we have greatly expanded our business and the products we offer. This growth has allowed us to offer many additional products. We use state of the art equipment for our production but retain the ability to hand craft one of a kind pieces. We take great honor in providing the highest quality and best customer service in the industry. After all, our family name is represented by everything we do.

HOW WE DO IT

Our Process

The creation of a memorial or monument begins with a consultation in our showroom. We work closely with you to understand your needs and preferences, helping you select the right materials, designs, and custom elements. Our team ensures that the entire process is seamless, guiding you every step of the way.

STEP 01

Programming

After finalizing the design, we use state-of-the-art programming software to convert your custom designs into precise instructions for our engraving and sandblasting machinery. This step ensures that every detail, from intricate engravings to complex shapes, is accurately captured.

STEP 02

Layout

After finalizing the design, we print the customer’s design onto a specialized rubber stencil. This stencil is then carefully applied to the stone’s surface, ensuring precise alignment and adherence. This meticulous layout process creates the perfect guide for our sandblasting, guaranteeing crisp and accurate engraving every time.

STEP 03

Sandblasting

After preparing the design, we carefully apply sandblasting techniques to etch your custom patterns onto the stone surface. This process involves directing a high-pressure stream of abrasive material to achieve precise, deep, and consistent engravings. The result is a polished and professional finish that enhances every detail of the design.

STEP 04

Painting

After the sandblasting process, we proceed to painting, where specialized paint is carefully applied to the engraved areas. Using high-quality, weather-resistant paints, we ensure vibrant colors that highlight the intricate details of your design. This step not only enhances the visual appeal but also provides lasting durability, ensuring the artwork remains vivid for years to come.

STEP 05

Cleaning

After painting, we meticulously clean the surface to remove any excess paint or debris, ensuring a flawless finish. STEP 06

Installing

The final step is installation, where our experienced team carefully positions and secures your custom piece in its designated location.
